As Ethan has asked Rob to be the usher at his wedding it is quite clear that Ethan no longer thinks of Rob as the most annoying person in the world. It would seem Ethan has gotten used to Robs obsession with first person shooters and was quite happy to verse with Rob in sentences referencing Counter-strike.
Rob currently works at GameHaven with Ethan (now that Ethan owns the store). And seems that he is the only one doing anywork whilst Ethan goes through his mid-life crisis.
